Oh, Dennis. Have you ever wished you had the skin of a baby again? That baby soft, smooth, gorgeous skin? Well, I do all the time but especially after this little guy. It’s not every day I get such a dark skinned beauty in the studio!
As a Mesa Newborn Photographer, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to work with the babies that come my way!
I love getting to meet new people and get to know things about people’s families. And yes, I am obsessed with baby toes and feet. They are so cute, can you blame me? Admit it, you think they are sweet, too, don’t you?
Like how this little babe is named after his daddy. His mommy and daddy met through an introduction of a mutual friend, and the rest is history! After a few dates, she knew he was the one. I LOVE hearing stories of how people meet! Do you?
I even got to meet Auntie at Dennis’ session. She came in from out of town and was able to come hang out at his newborn session. Let me tell you, I can see that mom and her sister have a blast together. They were a hoot! Little Dennis came to me a little older than most newborns.
Usually newborns come for photo sessions at 5-10 days old
But just because that’s the optimal window, doesn’t mean older babies can’t come in for a session. Dennis was 4 weeks old for his session. And look at the adorable photos we were able to get! These older babies are usually more awake and wiggly, so more of the session is with baby wrapped. But we did manage to get him into a good, deep sleep and got a bunch of sleepy shots, as well!
One thing that is fun with these older, awake babies is the great facial expressions you get! Aren’t these faces the BEST?
Do you need a Mesa Newborn Photographer? It’s best to make your appointment as soon as possible to ensure you get a spot. I’ll always do my best to fit you in, if possible, but my availability is limited!
